How long does it take to set up for a new show?
Adding a show is settings, not new software. You supply your stage names and how many days before air each one starts, your target runtime and frame rate, who holds which role, your asset libraries, your delivery destinations and your handoff order. It is checked as a whole before the board will load, so a schedule that skips a stage is caught at setup rather than three weeks in.
Adding a show is settings somebody fills in once, not new software written for you. Nothing gets forked off into a private version that stops getting updates.

Frame rate is not cosmetic here. Credit durations are counted in frames, so a wrong frame rate quietly mistimes the crawl that goes to air.
It is checked before it runs
The whole setup is checked as one thing. A schedule with Fine Cut starting before Rough Cut is refused at setup, rather than producing a board that silently skips a stage and gets noticed weeks later.
A second show costs setup time, not a rollout
Because a show is settings, a second show with a different cadence and runtime is another set of settings. Not another system to learn, buy and keep in step.
